Inside/Outside

A theatre and video co-production with young people with lived experience of mental health challenges. Through a series of workshops in 2023/4, the participants and project facilitators developed a play You OK?, about the young people's experiences, which they then performed in local secondary schools.

Many of the workshops were videoed and the participants were interviewed, and from this work a series of bitesize films were created. These films form the basis of a mental health and wellbeing, PSHE lesson package which is currently being distributed to secondary schools in East Sussex and Brighton and Hove.

And due to the strong impact of these videos, they are now being developed into a short film that will soon be available to be shown at mental health film festivals and conferences.
