Thank you to everyone who made 'Soup' such a huge success, from the ushers and programme sellers to workshop participants and volunteers who made the sets props and costume, while not forgetting the team of talented 'Young Creatives', many from East Sussex College, who took key roles in the project.

And finally there were the performers, over 150 singers, musicians and actors who brought the script to life for our packed audiences in the Winter Garden. Congratulations to you all.

We could write about how good the show was but perhaps our feedback should speak for itself:

"Wow just WOW! Eastbourne Soup last night was incredible" - Audience member

"...a much-needed love letter to Eastbourne" - Creative Eastbourne

"The buzz going around town is "Did you see Soup?"" - Exhibition Visitor

"I can't quite believe what I've done - I'm so happy with it" - Workshop Participant

"I am going to be so sad when this is all over" - Workshop Participant

And we would like to offer a special thank you to all our Eastbourne partners who worked so hard to make this happen: Printers Playhouse, Compass Arts, Eastbourne Shed, 186 Seaside, Eastbourne Silver Band, Cuckmere String Quartet, Concentus, Printers Playhouse Community Choir and Eastbourne Borough Council.

This project was funded by Backstage Trust, East Sussex Arts Partnership, Chalk Cliff Trust, Kevin Wrightson and Darcy Clothing
